Beyond Academics

Educating Girls of the 21st Century for a Brighter Tomorrow

At La Martiniere Girls’ College, we firmly believe in empowering everyone who walks through our doors to create dynamic, strong-willed women who can stand by their convictions. We encourage and train the pupils to become brilliant munners in an effort to develop these values and produce young females who are self-assured. The school has a MUN Club, Avenir and a counselling group. These clubs allow our girls to become confident and face all the challenges of this world with the utmost poise and with their heads held high. It helps them to gain a new perspective and become strong and courageous leaders.

Avenir means ‘Future’ in French. We at the Avenir Club aim to provide students with the knowledge and skills to make informed choices regarding their careers. We assist students of Classes VI-XII in finding the right career path for each of them. We provide our students with Individual counselling sessions which can be arranged via prior appointment for students and/or parents and would cover areas like career choice, university options, profile building, summer internships, etc. We also conduct Group orientation sessions for the students on topics like career options, study abroad, effective career planning, and more.
